 | De Scheveningen Pier by RoyJava See De Scheveningen Pier and its 400 m. long strolling promenade (rebuilt in 1961), with 2 levels in the distance ... once, a long time ago, the hot trendy Scheveningen disco "Belle Amie" was here. Walk down "De Pier", a glassed-in, roofed over promenade pier in front of the Kurhaus. On the upper deck you can have a glorious walk in sun and wind.  | Tsavo East, lodge with a view by sachara The Voi Safari Lodge is 5KM inside the park from the Voi Gate. The lodge is at a rocky hill and has a nice view at a pool and an endless plain. Be carefull, during the breakfast are toast- stealing baboons around. During the night we didn't close the curtains because we could see the floodlighted pool from our bed. It's a pity we didn't see any animal. The only thing we heard were a lot of frogs. [read more] |
