 | Kalkan Beach - Blue Flag Awarded by ann500 Kalkan has a nice pebble beach in the harbour with sun loungers. It has been awarded a Blue Flag Award for its cleanliness. The water depth drops off not far from the shore, so you don't have to walk over pebbles for long. In the mornings the beach is often rather empty and you can watch the boats leaving for the day.  | Down by the riverside by TheWanderingCamel Easter and school holidays meant we couldn't book another night in the partk itself at Kruger, so we did the next best thing and stayed at the Protea Hotel just outside the Paul Kruger Gate. The great thing about travel may be seeing the world through a different lens, but that doesn't mean the view is always pretty. With this in mind, the travel experts at VirtualTourist.com have come up with a list of "The World's Top 10 Ugliest Buildings and Monuments." General manager, Giampiero Ambrosi talks about the selections: "Some of these picks have all the charm of a bag of nails while others are just jaw-dropping in their complexity.
