 | Accessible Anchorage by PA2AKgirl Anchorage is our biggest city and where we currently reside. I’m putting on my “things to do” section because, despite the fact it is considered to be “20 minutes from Alaska” and “just another city”, it does provide services and opportunities you will not find anywhere else in the state.  | Gonder, early morning by sachara From Gonder we left early in the morning to Debark and the Simien Mountains. Because the restaurant of our hotel was still closed, we went to the towncentre to visit the bakery for fresh bread for breakfast and lunch. The bakery was situated at one of the unpaved roads, just south of the mainsquare. I enjoyed the special ''early-morning'' atmosphere with the first people walking in the smoky and unpaved road near the bakery. [read more] |

The great thing about travel may be seeing the world through a different lens, but that doesn't mean the view is always pretty. With this in mind, the travel experts at VirtualTourist.com have come up with a list of "The World's Top 10 Ugliest Buildings and Monuments."
